Automated Die Casting Production
Smart Manufacturing

Automated Production

At ALUNEX, our core competitive edge lies in our advanced automation systems, innovative manufacturing equipment, and optimized processes. To enhance production efficiency while maintaining the highest standards of quality, we have integrated a series of six-axis robotic arms from Switzerland’s ABB and Germany’s KUKA into our aluminum die-casting operations. These robots, equipped with sophisticated control systems and versatile capabilities, perform tasks such as aluminum die-casting, spraying, grinding, and automated assembly with exceptional speed and precision. This automation has significantly boosted both production efficiency and capacity.

In addition, we have developed our own smart-controlled Aluminum Alloy Rotary Melting Furnace cum Holding Furnace. The dual-furnace design separates the melting and holding processes, which reduces the time required to melt aluminum ingots and prevents a drop in the molten metal temperature, as well as contamination by impurities. Our in-house developed degassing function minimizes gas content in the molten aluminum, leading to finer material quality. The holding furnace, equipped with advanced French heating technology and intelligent control, ensures precise temperature regulation, reducing oxidation and guaranteeing a stable, reliable holding process. This innovative technology allows us to produce die-cast products with superior precision and strength.

Industry 4.0

Advancing Industry 4.0 Manufacturing Processes

We are dedicated to driving continuous improvement through the integration of advanced equipment and ongoing technological innovation, paving the way for a smart die-casting operation aligned with Industry 4.0. We are focused on enhancing our intelligent production lines, with six-axis robotic arms from ABB (Switzerland) and KUKA (Germany) at the heart of our operations. By combining these state-of-the-art robotic systems with innovative automation equipment and process designs, we optimize manufacturing workflows, foster a healthier work environment, and significantly enhance both the efficiency and precision of our aluminum die-casting production.

Automated Die Casting Production

In addition to robotic automation, we have integrated Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) systems that utilize advanced machine vision technology to enhance our quality control processes. AOI is a visual inspection method designed to detect defects in finished products by using a machine scanner with light imaging capabilities. This system applies high-speed, high-precision optical image verification, replacing traditional manual inspection methods that are often time-consuming and prone to human error. By leveraging strategically configured light sources and sophisticated computer vision algorithms, the AOI system accurately highlights key features and identifies potential defects such as porosity, cracks, and surface irregularities. This automated approach significantly improves the consistency, reliability, and efficiency of our quality control processes, ensuring that each product meets the highest standards of precision.

Historically, we have employed a systematic approach to process management, incorporating Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and Supply Chain Management (SCM) systems. In recent years, ALUNEX has been proactively developing and implementing a smart factory strategy. Moving forward, we will continue to expand and refine our automated production systems, further streamlining our processes and realizing a fully automated, Industry 4.0-driven manufacturing environment.
